Day13: Girls

Ok, this is a mis-mash of a few of my female characters that have collected in my subconscious since about 6th grade :P Here goes nothing (from left to right):
Faceless: Obviously the one without a face. She is my muse, per say. She's been in my head since about 6th grade, making her the oldest in this collection here. She really has no background story, other than she has no face, for some reason. (Namely, I just like her better without facial features). I like to draw her when I have nothing else to draw. She pops up from time to time on my homework and in my notes, and other than that, she has no other real purpose other than distraction. haha She can usually be found in a white tank top and jeans, however in this sketch she is not. She is my favorite nameless character.

Suzu: This little one just to the right of Faceless on the top row is from a rather fun and zany plot line I have named 78 Cursed. It's a complicated tail involving tarot cards, monsters, psychic abilities, brain capacity, and a rip in time and space. She is about 7 years old and lives with her two older brothers Jin and Tasuki. Her parents died when she was about 3, leaving her eldest brother Jin with right of custody. She has a strange knack for sniffing out lies, as she has a slight paranormal ability because of a backlash in energy fields that caused her parents death. (I know, confusing)She has a favorite cat that appeared with the strange housekeeper her brother has recently hired. She named him Felix. He is very cute.

Haru: (just to the right of Suzu on the top row) The strange housekeeper Jin hires. She is actively trying to collect a set of magical tarot cards that will help her open up a portal into another world that will destroy the world we live in, thusly cleansing us of our sins. Yeah, she's a little crazy. She started working for Jin because under their house is the fault line that will open up into the other world if she can collect all 78 magical tarot cards. She resurrects a cat demon from the other world, in the middle of their living room mind you, to help her collect the cards, but he turns out to be useless. His name is Yo. (He will appear in the Boys update) She enjoys sushi and chocolate milk and leaves mayhem and destruction in her wake.
(That is all the girls from this story line)

Ari: (Largest head on the second row) This is the main female character from my most well developed pot line. The one with all the werewolves. (yes you finally get to hear their story) I began thinking of werewolves a few months after the third Harry Potter book came out, and I subsequently fell in love with Remus and Sirius. This was about 9th grade. And thusly sprung a long, complicated, epic story involving werewolves and their struggles to survive in an increasingly urbanized world. Ari, however, is not a werewolf. But she does rescue one. Ari is the only child of a neglectful, workaholic nurse at the local hospital. She has above average grades, a mellow, friendly personality, and not much going for her in life. Her mother is never home, they have little to know money, and, frankly, Ari doesn't hang out with the most respectable of people. Out of her neglect in her childhood, Ari developed some need to mother and take care of people, which has landed her in a strange line of 'work'. She provides a safe house to youths who have run away from some problem. She excepts kids who have run away from abusive parents for the night and other such dilemmas. They come by her house, knock on her bedroom window, and she sets them up in a spare room or on the couch for the night. It is in this way that she stumbles upon Shannon. Shannon falls asleep in front of her window one night, broken and bleeding after being separated from his pack. She drags him inside, thinking he's some kid from school, only to come home to a giant white wolf asleep on her couch when she gets home from school. Now I wont tell you the whole plot, but the human Ari gets tangled up in Shannon's feud with his pack after they have been taken over by a man named Adam. Its a tale of deceit, betrayal, love, and family bonds that has been in my head for over 4 years now. You will hear much more of it in days to come. (you've already seen a few characters in past blog posts)

Red: (to the left of Ari) Red is a subordinated member of Shannon's pack. She is fiercely protective of her little brother David, after watching their family burn to death in a barn fire almost 5 years ago. (She and all her family are werewolves) After her families death, Shannon took her and her brother in and they have treated them like family ever since. However, when Shannon was driven from the pack after being blamed for David's death, Red started to grow steadily out of control. Out of her mind with grief, she drove herself mad until she became wild, dangerous, and uncontrollable. James, after taking control of the pack, used her as a killing tool as he attacked more and more people while trying to take control of the city. Black is entirely devoted to her, however, she was never able to realize it as she slowly went insane. She is a very tragic character, one of my favorites, and I'm not entirely pleased with this depiction of her. She's just not wild enough. :\ better luck next time.

and now Emily: (last head on the bottom, with the glasses) Emily is from a very underdeveloped story involving a crazy man, made up delusions, God, and the end of the world. She is not even the most interesting character. She's the sane one haha. It is Lucas who is the most fun. Emily is a shy, boring office worker who randomly one day spies an incomprehensibly thin man in the abandoned building across the street from her apartment. She knows there has never been anyone there before, but now that she's noticed his presence, she starts seeing him everyday, as though he lives there and never leaves the building. (Which is true on both counts) One day she works up the courage to go over there and ask him to leave. Go to a help center or something, as no one is supposed to be in that building. When she makes it over there however, she is totally shocked. It's as if she's stepped into another dimension. The shadows are thicker, and move around behind her without them being disturbed. The view out the window is not the same as it is on the outside. Strange noises persist throughout the house without any explanation as to why. But the strangest thing of all is the man she keeps seeing through her window: Lucas. (his description will be on the 'Boys' post)

and that is all I had time for. Haha These characters are actually only drawn from the 3 most well developed of my stories, minus Faceless who has no particular plot line. In total I have 5 stories that are strong enough to be written and played with, but the other two are newer, and thusly less developed so I left them out of this entourage. I also have some random characters from random ideas that I was going to include in this, but I ran out of time and stamina to produce them :\
They will, inevitably, appear in later post though, as I'm using this as a sort of character development for my many plot lines haha.

so, on to the boys!
